Never ever would I have guessed that I’d find the perfect off white/navy striped jumper at this age. I had already accepted that I’d find the perfect breton jumper only by the time my frist wrinkles would began to show.. So what a surprise! Only thing left to do now is go to the nearest Filippa K store and take what’s mine!
Have I ever told you how bad I wish I could draw? Isn’t it fantastic to be able to put your visual thoughts on paper? Sadly I haven’t been blessed with a talent for drawing. Now I am not saying that it isn’t possible to draw without having the predisposition for drawing, but I can say from my experience that you’ll always pick out the ones with talent from a group.
The last artist who triggerd my desire to be able to draw is Sarah Hankinson. Wow that woman knows how to draw! I love the way she combines casual drawing with splashes of colour. Be sure to check out her work and maybe even pamper yourself by buying a print!

If there is one garment that has been on my wishlist for years without finding it’s way to my closet it’s definitly the Acne Pop jeans. Somehow the universe doesn’t want us to be together.. By the time I was convinced that the boyfriend cut jeans wasn’t just a trend that would fly over easily, the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans I had laid my eyes on was sold out literally everywhere. When I had given up on finding the Acne Pop Trash jeans I bumped into them at the Acne store in Antwerp, even with discount. Can you all imagine how happy I was?! Then now imagine how beyond disappointed I was when I found out they weren’t available in my size anymore. I even had a little fase of denial at the Acne store – that means trying on a size 38 baggy jeans with the conviction they would fit me.
Now, almost a year after my Antwerp fiasco, I wish to give these jeans one more shot. This saturday I’ll be walking into the Acne store in Amsterdam and I won’t be walking out empty handed (positive thinking!).
Only thing left to do is chose which color I’ll be going for, will it be Vintage Blue or Betty? We’ll see.. We’ll see..
April 4th H&M comes with it’s – already – third conscious collection. Luckily for us, the collection does justice to the saying ‘third time’s the charm’. Against my expectations H&M surprised me with this old Hollywood glamour collection. I literally wow-ed when I saw the campaign images popping up on the internet. How can one resist these super feminine yet tough garments? My two favorite looks are the romantic bohemian dress and the cream-colored three piece suit you see above. Although I wouldn’t mind playing around in the mintgreen tule dress from below either for a day or two.. Which girl hasn’t dreamed of being a princess?
